ROSE TINTED ILLUSTRATION // ABSENT FOR A COUPLE OF MONTHS
As you may know by now, I am relocating to China with my hubby to teach English! So I'm going to be taking a break from Rose Tinted for a couple of months or so. This means I won't be posting for awhile, nor will I be making flower crowns to order. I will also be missing from my social media (facebook, instagram) If you would like to see more of my work, you can always scroll back to some of my older posts.
My NZ friends, I have a range of illustration prints and flower crowns available to purchase from Tiny Space Store in Auckland City (St Kevins Arcade, K'rd).
You're welcome to email or message for an enquiry or just to say hello, I'm just unsure how long it will take me to reply. I apologise for this if it causes any inconvenience.

METALLIC OWL // OP SHOP FIND
Rose Tinted Photography
I'm a bit of a magpie when it comes to metallic things, so when I saw this picture of an owl at the local charity store, I had to have it. I love the way it catches the sunlight and is even more brilliant as you change angles.

PASTEL OCEAN // CANDY SKIES
I've been on yet another little getaway to the beach this winter. This time it was with my family to Matarangi where my Aunty and Uncle have a bach we were able to use. You may recall we also went there in the summer for a blissful holiday.
I'm treasuring this time with family in such a beautiful location as I know I will miss it dearly when we are in China. I love the New Zealand coast and I believe it is the most beautiful at sunset when the light becomes dusty and dreamy. The best thing about photographing in winter is you get empty beaches void of people. Not that it's a bad thing, but there is something profound about having such a vast and beautiful space to capture. Winter light is also stunning with it's cool white tones, quite a contrast to the warm golden glow of summer.
I love it when the photo is so beautiful that it needs no editing in the slightest. But really God did all the hard work here, we just happened to be here with camera in hand at the right time with the knowledge of how to capture it. Special thanks to my sister Melody of Glorious Bandits blog who snapped the images of me in my favourite fedora!

HOT PINK ROSE TINTED FLOWER CROWN // FOR ROSE, USING ROSES
There's a lot of Rose's in that title! I probably broke some rule in grammar but they are all for different nouns / proper nouns. The first one being my name brand, the second being the name of the lovely lady I made it for, and the third being the type of flower I used to make it!
This is quite different to anything else I've made yet, and I really love it! At the moment, I am not currently taking or making orders for the next couple of months as I am about to relocate countries. But if you have some ideas for one feel free to email me and I will get back to you to discuss your dream crown! rosetintedillustration@gmail.com

DREAMY BEACH ENGAGEMENT SHOOT // ASHLEY LOVES NATHAN AND VICE VERSA
Rose Tinted Photography
These two love birds... At least soon they will legitimately be love Bird's as that is Nathan's surname. I loved capturing the love between this pair at the last light of day. The sky went this pretty peach which reflected on the water to beautifully match Ashley's dress. A dress she bought because Nathan once had a dream where she was wearing a peach dress (cute aye?). The light was soft and ethereal and we pretty much had the beach to ourselves. One of my favourite photo shoots to date.
Love these two so very much! Can't wait for them to embark on the adventure of marriage.
