ICE-CREAM PARLOUR // ALLI KISSICK PHOTOGRAPHY

Photographs by Alli K

My good friend and photographer Alli Kissick took these stunning photos and I just had to share them! You know how much I love pastels right! These images remind me of 50's milk bars and the perfect pastel town in Edward Scissor Hands. Does anyone else get that vibe? Be sure to check out more of her work and give her facebook page a like!

Alli is one of those people that is good at everything. She also does some incredible screen printing works, has a collection of her designs on t-shirts, she ventures into tattoo design and does incredible illlustrations. Obviously she has a knack for photography specializing in portraiture. I know her from Art School and she was always creating amazing things, and making connections with people to work with. She took full advantage of her job at First Scene Costume Hire & Prop company by using all sorts of costumes in her photoshoot. These provide whimsical imagery that seem like ghosts of a bygone era. She even did a Marie Antoinette shoot which was incredible. We share a love for the Sofia Coppola retelling of this story! Did I mention she also is marvellous at baking? Too much talent in one person!

BERRY TONED // ROSE TINTED FLOWER CROWN

Rose Tinted Photography

Yet another of my custom flower crowns commissioned as a birthday gift by a friend for one of her besties. I love the outcome of this piece using peonies, orchids, carnations and hydrangea and of course the colour combination is gorgeous! Since this image was taken, I have also added in a few stems of dark purple lavender which tied in nicely. This was the outcome of this post where I gathered a collection of silk flowers.

Contact me via facebook message or email (rosetintedillustration@gmail.com) to order your custom crown!

INSPIRED BY VINTAGE SHEET MUSIC DESIGN

Rose Tinted Photography

I just love the beautiful typography in these covers for vintage sheet music books. My creative friend used these like wall paper to line the inside of a storage cupboard in their home. Hence why the images seem to be on funny angles. I love this use for them. it's such a nifty idea! It's interesting how this style is making a come back but it a more minimalist way. I love them, I think it's time for me to practice some calligraphy!

OUR ANNIVERSARY // PART THREE

Photographs by Stephan & Nakita

I like you, I'm in like with you, I treasure you, I cherish you, I adore you, I LOVE YOU! I can't stop falling in love with you.

OUR THIRD ANNIVERSARY // PART TWO

Photographs by Stephan and Nakita

Words cannot describe how much I love this man. He is my dream man. I still have to pinch myself sometimes to make sure this is real. Three amazing years full of love and adventure.

This part of the photo shoot was a little more bridal influenced. Since our wedding, my tastes have changed immensely in terms of style. I've done some work for an event styling company and it has opened my eyes to all the possibilities of how beautiful a wedding could look. This was a wonderful way to document a style I wish I had back then now. This isn't what we wore, that much I wouldn't change. I loved my wedding dress and my Mum handmade it which makes it extra special. Though I would have also loved to wear a soft blush pink which is my favourite colour.

I would have loved peonies in a wild trailing bouquet like this, but they weren't in season. I put this bouquet together with some help from Nakita using some stolen greenery from neighbouring gardens. The flower crown is a Rose Tinted piece that I made to go with my dress. A big thanks to Eloise, my wonderful sister-in-law for curling my hair. I loved how Louis looked so handsome in his grey suit with a tweed blazer.

These are such swoon worthy images and I love them! Thanks Stephan and Nakita!

OUR THIRD ANNIVERSARY // PART ONE

Photographs by Stephan & Nakita

I love him so much! Today marks our third anniversary and I can't believe it's been three years since we said I do. Our journey has been truly amazing, and I couldn't imagine anyone better to do life with.

These photographs were taken by our good friends Stephan & Nakita in the place we currently call home. We love living here together next to a little field and two great trees.
