GIANT HANDMADE BLOOMS // BY TIFFANIE TURNER

Handmade Blooms by Tiffanie Turner

I am blown away by just how beautiful these handmade paper blooms are! Crafted by San Francisco Artist Tiffanie Turner who is also the maker behind Papel SF. My good friend/sister-in-law Eloise shared the link to this post by The Jealous Curator knowing I would love it!

There's something amazing and intriguing about things that are made on a large scale (or miniature for that matter). The time and skill it would take to make something like this is so admirable. Tiffanie has posted tutorials on how to make these beauties which you can view here.

BERRY TONED // ROSE TINTED FLOWER CROWN

Rose Tinted Photography

Yet another of my custom flower crowns commissioned as a birthday gift by a friend for one of her besties. I love the outcome of this piece using peonies, orchids, carnations and hydrangea and of course the colour combination is gorgeous! Since this image was taken, I have also added in a few stems of dark purple lavender which tied in nicely. This was the outcome of this post where I gathered a collection of silk flowers.

GLORIOUS BANDITS

Rose Tinted Photography

My very creative sister Melody has just opened an etsy store called Glorious Bandits where she is selling these gorgeous handmade forest animal trophies and felt laptop sleeves. They are just so adorable and would be an amazing gift for a baby shower or a friend's birthday. I love her choice of fabrics & colours and my personal favourite is the super cute fox.

Support local & handmade, and be sure to pass this on to your friends. Give the Glorious Bandits facebook page a like!

A ROSE TINTED GIFT WRAPPING TUTORIAL OVER ON POLLI BLOG

Photography : Maree of Rose Tinted

Today I am over on the lovely Polli Blog sharing some creative ideas on how to gift wrap presents for Christmas. I think a little bit of effort into the wrapping of a gift makes receiving it all the more special. Don't you think? However it does make it harder to unravel as who would want to undo such a pretty parcel?

To see more instructions on how to beautifully wrap and decorate your gifts, be sure to visit this post on Polli Blog!

FEATURE IN TILDY MAGAZINE

My beautiful friend Bonnie, who I know from Art School, has just made a beautiful online publication called Tildy Magazine! It's full of sweet and crafty ideas that are both fashionable and sustainable. Please have a read! You can even click the links to open other websites in another tab. So great!

There is a range of interviews with some wonderful & creative women and I feel so privileged to have been a part of it. Other's include my fellow illustration friend Ashleigh Meyer  who is a stylish lady and a master at watercolour painting, and Katrina Willcox who is an artistic gem who always has great advice when it comes to anything. Not to forget the darling Bonnie herself who upcycles vintage clothing into unique fashions which forms her brand, Seconhand Chic'

Tildy also has some really lovely tutorials like how to make a camera strap out of a silk scarf which I am so keen to do! Also some home remedy beauty secrets that means you aren't putting any nasty chemicals on your body.

Be sure to have a read!
