WHITE MAGICK - PT 3 // LOVER THE LABEL

I would happily wear any one of these stunning lace dresses by Lover the Label and their latest White Magick Collection. I would invent an event to provide reason enough to wear them. I wouldn't care if I were too overdressed or bridal looking cause I would feel so pretty and elegant, it wouldn't matter.

ROMANTIC BLUSH FASHION SPREAD // VOGUE MEXICO SPRING 2013

Vogue Mexico March 2013
Photographer : Matthew Scrivens
Model : Morgane Warnier

I just love this fashion spread for Vogue Mexico 2013 featuring Morgane Warnier, photographed by by Matthew Scrivens. This delicate shade of peachy pink is my favourite colour to wear. It's just so feminine and pretty. I'm a little envious of Morgane's white blond hair. Mind you, platinum is not something I would ever do to my own hair, but I just love it on someone who really rocks it.

The romanticism of this shoot reminds me of high tea in the late 1800's where everyone would wear white or the softest of pastel tones. I'm thinking lace with frilly hats and parasols. I also imagine this blush & white snow palette would make for a pretty wedding style.

THESE ARE A FEW OF MY FAVOURITE DRESSES...

From the Wardrobe of Maree W-B

Here are some of my pretty summer frocks which I just adore. Nothing beats a dress in my opinion. They make you feel gorgeous and feminine, most of them are very comfortable, and they provide a whole outfit in one garment! I like things in soft pastel colours and delicate fabrics, which I know are a pain to hand wash, but it's well worth it!

1920'S PORTRAIT OF GLORIA SWANSON // PHOTOGRAPHER : EDWARD STEICHEN

Photography : Edward Steichen
Model : Gloria Swanson

This is possibly one of my favourite portraits of all time. It was taken by American photographer Edward Steichen in 1924 of superstar Gloria Swanson. I find it was a modern work for it's time. She is captivating, but also stares confidently into the lens. This demonstrates a more confronting image of a woman that wouldn't have been seen very much at this point in history.

Steichen is regarded as one of the first photographers to capture modern fashion photographs. In his career as a photographer, he worked for renowned fashion magazines, Condé Nast, Vogue and Vanity Fair. His forward thinking inspired a way to combine fashion and photography together as a fine art.
